In this position you will:

  • Serve as the lead for the Project Management Organization for the company, reporting to the VP of Customer Success
  • Lead and build the strategic vision for the PMO, including processes, tools and KPIs to ensure customer and company success
  • Manage implementation projects by spearheading an internal task force composed of chemical engineers, machine learning researchers and software developers to deliver Imubit’s software to refining & petrochemical clients and significantly impact company growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product’s usage patterns and shape its future roadmap in collaboration with algorithm, software and product teams.
  • Understand client feedback and facilitate two-way communication with Imubit's R&D team
  • Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities including resource availability & allocation for each project
  • Outline a budget based on requirements and track costs to deliver projects on budget and on schedule.
  • Prepare detailed project plans to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Manage delivery of the projects according to these plans.
  • Track project and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of project management experience
  • PMP certification required
  • Agile certification a strong plus
  • Candidate should be based in Houston and some travel will be required (10 - 20%)
  • Experience working in a SAAS startup (or company); refining and petrochemical experience a plus
  • Strong people leader; that recognizes their team’s strengths and weaknesses and places members into positions that lead to current and future success.
  • Capable of translating technical needs, requirements, or priorities to a non-technical audience of business stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate across internal and external stakeholders from different groups and levels 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and challenge stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, challenging and growing organization
